About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Director to drive strategic procurement initiatives. This key position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective supply chain management strategies, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing that supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement plans to meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to provide quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of materials and services by monitoring inventory levels and optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes in a professional and timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, and transportation management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office to manage purchasing processes and analyze data.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
