Large Scale Kafka Cluster Management

Welcome to a challenging role where you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale Kafka clusters, ensuring their security, availability, scalability and fault tolerance.

  • Installation, configuration, management of large-scale Kafka clusters.
  • Performing upgrades, patches, disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensuring performance, metrics collection, and configuration optimization of Kafka clusters.
  • Automating Kafka cluster installations, topic/ACL/connector deployments.
  • Collaboration with developers, providing Kafka expertise.
  • Maintaining documentation, SOPs, best practices.
  • Troubleshooting issues in Kafka and related ecosystems.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Managing multiple large-scale Kafka clusters simultaneously.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure high availability of Kafka clusters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and develop solutions to complex technical problems.

For this role, we are seeking an experienced professional with strong knowledge of Kafka Administration and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Kafka Administration and architecture.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, ServiceNow.
