About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design and maintain database systems, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

This role involves contributing to the development and optimization of relational databases used in our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement database architectures based on user needs, maintain schemas, and support deployment strategies.
  • Provide development support by guiding developers on best practices, reviewing SQL code, and implementing patches.
  • Analyze performance, tune queries and systems, and set up environments for optimal database performance.
  • Investigate and resolve database-related issues in production and implementation projects.
  • Install, configure, and optimize internal databases for engineering and support teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in database architecture, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL.
  • Experience with data modeling and schema design.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Relational Databases Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL (in development).
  • Scripting Linux and Windows environments.
  • Monitoring Tools and Cloud Deployment.
  • NoSQL databases (experience is a plus).
