Accounting Specialist

The role involves overseeing accounting activities for multiple entities in both the US and APAC regions. It includes performing general ledger functions, reconciliations, and financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC standards.

  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entry posting, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and customer billing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and collaborate with production teams to track costs and performance metrics.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports as needed.
  • Analyze account information, trends, and provide explanations for financial performance.
  • Implement and streamline accounting processes across regions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

This position also requires maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA certifications preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
