Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Director to lead our product engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services.

About the Role:
  • We are looking for a seasoned engineering manager with expertise in leading cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing product roadmaps, collaborating with senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.
  • As a thought leader, you will mentor team members on architecture, design, and technical aspects of our products.
  • Identify and deploy the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work more efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within agreed time frames.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize product features and requirements.
  4. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
Requirements:
  • 12-20 years of experience in product development, preferably in PDCs.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development and management methods.
  • Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, Node.js, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Good understanding of RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra or MongoDB).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for working together with a team to solve customer problems.
