Job Title: Performance Tester

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team. As a key member of the development and testing cycle, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts using JMeter.

Your primary objective will be to analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and performance gaps. You will work closely with the development, QA, and business teams to define performance test requirements, document test scenarios, test data, and results for review and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter
  • Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and performance gaps

  • Provide recommendations to improve system stability, scalability, and performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing.
  • Good knowledge of analyzing performance test results and identifying root causes.
  • Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (any stream) OR MCA OR M.Sc. (IT).
  • Must have passed or be willing to clear ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent) within 3 months of joining.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Core Java for scripting and custom test development
  • Knowledge of application monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing integration
