We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team at The Seaways Placement & Services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to drive our full-cycle recruitment process, from identifying top talent to interviewing and evaluating candidates.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in building a strong employer brand for our company, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain the most qualified employees. With a proven track record of success in recruitment, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates online, updating job ads, and conducting background checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and update job descriptions to effectively communicate the requirements and expectations of each role.
  • Sources potential candidates from various online channels, including social media and professional platforms like Stack Overflow and Behance.
  • Craft compelling recruiting emails to attract passive candidates and encourage them to apply for our job openings.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms to ensure they meet the minimum requirements for each role.
  • Conduct phone, video, or in-person interviews with shortlisted candidates to assess their skills and experience.
  • Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language, and logical reasoning tests to evaluate candidate skills.
  • Advertise job openings on our careers page, social media, job boards, and internally to reach a wider audience.
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and experience to excel in the role.
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire, to optimize our recruitment processes.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role, with a strong understanding of recruitment best practices.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases to efficiently manage candidate applications.
  • Experience with sourcing techniques, including social media, LinkedIn, and other online channels.
  • Understanding of referral programs to incentivize current employees to refer qualified candidates.
