Job Description
This role involves overseeing the performance of distributor sales representatives and ensuring they meet business objectives. The key account head will be responsible for training, team management, and sales strategy execution.
- Hire, train, and build the capability of distributor sales teams to meet business goals.
- Drive sales revenue, volume, and mix in line with company objectives.
- Cultivate effective relationships with key distributors and self-service outlets.
Sales Strategy Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive results.
- Collaborate with distributors to expand reach and maintain consistent sales performance.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics such as invoicing, revenue, collections, and product performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with distributors to identify growth opportunities and resolve issues.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in managing distributors or indirect teams, preferably in sectors like paint, appliances, lubricants, or construction.
