Lean Manufacturing Manager

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing Manager to lead strategic process improvement projects and implement lean methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of lean principles, tools, and techniques.
  2. Develop and execute process improvement projects to optimize facility utilization, workflow organization, and workstation design.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to achieve significant impact on company performance.
  4. Communicate progress and results to stakeholders, including champion and steering committee teams.
  5. Provide expert advice and assistance to Green Belts, Process Owners, and Team Members on Six Sigma methodologies, statistics, change management, and process design strategies.
  6. Monitor team activities, analyze data, and ensure timely completion of Six Sigma projects while focusing on key processes influencing customer value elements.
  7. Implement SPC systems and tools to monitor and control processes, motivating team members to participate effectively and rewarding those who demonstrate high performance.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Lean & Six Sigma.
  • Black Belt Certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong business sense, ability to learn quickly, and self-motivation with high discipline.
  • Facilitation skills, analytical techniques, and proficiency in various tools like Kanban, 5S, visual management, Poka-Yoke, VSM, pull systems, etc.

Desirable Job Competencies:

  • 2 years of experience leading Six Sigma projects.
  • Proven team leadership skills and ability to influence others at all levels of an organization.
  • Result-oriented approach to creating value and a hunger for 'greater' results.
  • Forward-thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt easily to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
