Email Security Solutions Specialist

A top client is building a dedicated practice for Proofpoint implementations as an official Service Partner.
They seek skilled engineers with expertise in email security who can be trained to deliver high-quality Proofpoint deployments and configurations for global clients.
This opportunity allows you to work on enterprise-grade cybersecurity products and become an early member of a fast-growing security practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in deploying and configuring Proofpoint solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand security needs, design appropriate configurations, and ensure successful implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients.
- Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint expertise.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions.
- Prior experience with tools like Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.
- Understanding of email protocols such as SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments.
- Exposure to Proofpoint solutions.
- Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation.
- Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms.
