At GeeseSquads, we're on the hunt for a skilled Junior Test Engineer to spearhead our QA efforts. This role requires a meticulous individual with a passion for ensuring the highest quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually test web and mobile applications to guarantee functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Develop automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to comprehend requirements and define test cases.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.
  • Create comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing is beneficial.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
