About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing and implementing effective testing strategies. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will analyze requirements and develop test plans working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in different types of Functional and Non-Functional testing like System, Integration, Regression, Database, Performance, Stress, etc.
  • Experience in design and development of Test Automation Framework leveraging relevant code libraries is essential.
  • Knowledge of Selenium Webdrivers, TestNG, SQL server, MySQL, configuration management, version control, etc., is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality software products.
  2. Analyze requirements and develop test plans working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  3. Prepare test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
  4. Implement Quality Assurance best practices.
  5. Analyze and develop complex test data sets for testing.
  6. Identify and select the test cases for automation and/or create, enhance, debug and execute automation test cases.
  7. Execute tests (manual / automated [Selenium, TestNG, Maven, BDD framework]).
  8. Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD framework.
  9. Suggest improvements on the automation framework.
  10. Report defects and assist in their understanding working closely with the developers.
  11. Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
  12. Prepare and present test reports.
  13. Train and mentor junior software test engineers.
  14. Collating and monitoring the defect management process.
  15. Managing the changes and executing regression tests.
  16. Maximize test coverage of the system to around 95% and in turn reducing defects.
