The role of the AWS DevOps Architect involves strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure utilizing AWS services. This position requires extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure as code.

Key responsibilities include leading the design of highly available, resilient, and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions, overseeing the maintenance of applications and infrastructure, employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization, and spearheading continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes.

Furthermore, this role involves architecting and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, improving application deployment and release management processes, and automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployments.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack, implementing robust logging and alerting systems, and regularly performing performance tuning and resource optimization.

Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role, as the AWS DevOps Architect will work closely with development and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.

Qualifications for this position include 10+ years of progressive experience in AWS cloud computing, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), and AWS Certified DevOps Architect certification is preferred. In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation, is also required.
