Job Description:">

We are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Linux Software Repository Maintainer. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our software repository.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux, bash scripting, C, and Python programming languages. They should be able to manage software dependencies, compile source code, and maintain changelogs.

  • Compiling software from source code using tools like gcc and autotools
  • Managing software dependencies and tracking changes
  • Patching and providing software patches
  • Maintaining documentation and version control

The successful candidate will also possess strong English language proficiency, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:">

Technical skills required for this position include:

  • Linux operating system (Slackware or other distributions)
  • Bash scripting and automation
  • C and Python programming languages
  • Software compilation and packaging
  • Version control systems (git, svn, etc.)
