As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients of all abilities. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fitness and enjoy teaching others.

About the Role:
  • Conduct verbal screenings to ensure participants are safe to participate and provide guidance on next steps if necessary.
  • Promote the benefits of exercise and overall health to clients.
  • Teach Pilates classes ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes in length.
  • Lead one-on-one Pilates sessions or small group classes, focusing on individual attention and designing tailored programs based on client postures and abilities.
  • Establish a rapport with clients, understanding their goals and building trust.
  • Ensure class safety by checking the area and reporting any hazards.
  • Engage participants, encouraging retention and offering adaptations and progressions as needed.
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related field.
  • Certification in Pilates instruction (STOTT Pilates, Balanced Body, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
