Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Scientist.

  • About the Role:

The ideal candidate will bring advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive strategic business decisions.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business challenges. Conduct in-depth research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science methodologies. Collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business) to integrate models into production systems.

Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to support strategic initiatives. Publish internal technical reports and contribute to research papers/patents.

  • Mentor junior data scientists and provide thought leadership within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques to real-world problems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
  • Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Strong domain expertise in Healthcare, Finance, Retail, etc.
