Job Title: Data Engineer Lead

Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Data Engineer Lead to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data processing pipelines, ETL workflows, and data warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data processing pipelines and ETL workflows using various technologies such as Apache Beam, Cloud Dataflow, and BigQuery.

• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and other data repositories using relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product managers, and data analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Work with large datasets and perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.

• Develop technical documentation and provide training to other team members on data engineering best practices and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience.

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration projects.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and database design principles.

• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
