Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and software engineering, with experience in designing data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support enterprise machine learning systems at scale.

The role involves developing and deploying scalable tools and services for clients to handle machine learning training and inference. This requires expertise in building robust and efficient data processing systems, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies and containerization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Pipeline Design: Design and develop data pipelines that enable seamless data flow between different systems, ensuring high-quality data is available for machine learning model training and deployment.
  2. Infrastructure Engineering: Engineer infrastructure to support large-scale machine learning deployments, including development of automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  3. Tool Development: Develop and deploy scalable tools and services for clients to handle machine learning training and inference, leveraging cloud-based technologies and containerization.
  4. Tech Evaluation: Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of clients' machine learning systems.
  5. Software Engineering: Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  6. Model Support: Support model development, focusing on auditability, versioning, and data security.
  7. PoC Development: Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems.
  8. Clients Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to build requirements and track progress, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Strong background in machine learning and software engineering.
  • Experience in designing data pipelines and engineering infrastructure for enterprise machine learning systems.
  • Expertise in building robust and efficient data processing systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and containerization.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
