About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JMeter and performance testing practices, along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts using JMeter.
  • Analyzing test results to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and performance gaps.
  • Working closely with development, QA, and business teams to define performance test requirements.
  • Documenting test scenarios, test data, and results for review and knowledge sharing.
  • Providing recommendations to improve system stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project discussions.

The required skills and qualifications for the role include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with JMeter.
  • A strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing.
  • A good knowledge of analyzing performance test results and identifying root causes.
  • An educational qualification of B.E./B.Tech (any stream) OR MCA OR M.Sc. (IT).
  • A willingness to clear ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent) within 3 months of joining.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

The good to have optional skills for the role include:

  • Experience in Core Java for scripting and custom test development.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing integration.
