DevOps Observability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Observability Expert to join our team.

About the Role

As a DevOps Observability Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade observability solutions, enabling organizations to scale with reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs, traces).
  • Develop custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools using Python.
  • Implement dashboards & visualizations in Grafana and optimize logging in Splunk.
  • Manage event streaming pipelines with Kafka.
  • Deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • Build & optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Argo CD).
  • Drive DevOps maturity assessments, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML (Flask/Node.js a plus)

Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform

Knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, NoSQL)

Familiarity with storage systems (NetApp, VMAX, Pure, PMAX)

Strong exposure to monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, etc.

Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment experience
