Job Summary:

  • This is an opportunity to lead the launch of new consumer appliances, ensuring timely execution from concept to market.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned product launch manager with expertise in appliance product development, program management, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management
    1. Lead the product launch process, owning project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics.
    2. Establish clear governance frameworks, stage-gate reviews, and risk management processes.
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership
    1. Collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams.
    2. Align stakeholders to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
  3. Product Development & Validation
    1. Ensure DFMA and DFX principles are integrated early in the design stage.
    2. Oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing (performance, reliability, regulatory compliance).
  4. Operational Readiness
    1. Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams, including process validation and yield improvement.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    1. Develop and refine product launch processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliances.

Requirements:

  • Strong program management skills
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, and regulatory certifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
