Senior Magento Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Magento Developer to lead the development and maintenance of our eCommerce websites built on the Magento platform.

The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Magento's architecture and extensive experience with Magento 2, allowing them to effectively customize, develop, and ensure the optimal performance of our online stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain eCommerce websites on Magento.

• Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.

• Customize Magento modules and third-party extensions to meet specific business needs.

• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the Magento platform.

• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement front-end and back-end features.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with Magento websites.

• Stay updated with the latest Magento features and best practices.

• Participate in sessions with internal and client teams to understand project goals and requirements.

• Support the creation, definition, and understanding of project requirements across teams.

• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code with little to no supervision.

• Perform custom theme development and integrate external systems, including CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.

• Utilize and support modern deployment practices using CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with QA and Support teams to rapidly address and resolve issues.

• Perform quality analysis of requirements and code before production deployments.

• Provide technical support for production deployments and verify successful execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Magento development (Magento 2 preferred).

• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Experience with Magento theme development, custom modules, and third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

• Knowledge of web services and APIs for eCommerce applications.

• Ability to optimize Magento websites for performance, scalability, and security.

• Experience in integrating Magento with other systems (CRM, ERP, payment systems, shipping, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with enterprise-level systems and complex Magento environments.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and API management frameworks.

• Familiarity with unit testing, issue tracking software (e.g., GitHub, JIRA).
