Project Manager Specialist

The Project Manager Specialist will lead the project planning and execution function across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives.

About the Role:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for various projects.
  • Establish project baselines, monitor deviations, and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for integrated planning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement project monitoring systems, dashboards, and progress reports.
  • Track key performance indicators such as cost, time, productivity, and resource utilization.
  • Highlight delays, risks, and bottlenecks to management with mitigation plans.
Leadership & Coordination:
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners as well as coordinate with site-based teams.
  • Standardize planning processes, templates, and best practices across projects.
  • Collaborate with finance, contracts, and execution teams for alignment of schedules with cash flow, billing, and milestones.
Strategic Planning & Support:
  • Support management in strategic planning, bid schedules, and resource forecasting.
  • Provide planning inputs for risk management, claim preparation, and project recovery plans.
  • Ensure alignment of project schedules with contractual obligations and client requirements.

Requirements include a graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) and 15+ years of experience in project management for various projects. Strong expertise in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
