Job Opportunity:

Quality Assurance Specialist

Our company is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and reporting abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures to ensure they meet specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct quality checks on welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with industry standards.
  • Perform dimensional inspections of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control in structural steel fabrication industry.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for structural steel.
  • Sound knowledge of welding processes.
  • Understanding of painting and coating standards.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
