Lead Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and supervise activities in the Geotechnical domain for a large-scale open pit mine operation with complex geological settings.

About You:

  • A postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in Geotechnical engineering is essential, with expertise in geotechnical studies, feasibility reports, stability analysis, simulation modeling, and slope stabilization.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have excellent leadership and management skills to oversee entire activities in the Geotechnical domain.
  • Should be able to prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports, conduct stability analyses, and implement scheme derived from simulation models.

Job Requirements:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  2. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
