Job Description

As a seasoned data migration specialist, you will lead and manage comprehensive Teamcenter data migration initiatives across various versions and platforms. Your expertise in formulating effective migration strategies that maintain data integrity, optimize performance, and ensure seamless business continuity is essential for our organization.

You will design and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for efficient data migration and manage large-scale datasets, including data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with functional consultants, solution architects, and key business stakeholders to gather and interpret migration requirements.

Leveraging Technology

Utilizing tools such as PLMXML, TCXML, ITK, SOA, and scripting languages like Java and Python, you will automate and streamline migration activities. You will also perform thorough pre- and post-migration testing, handle error resolution, and implement performance tuning measures.

Creating Documentation

As part of your role, you will create and maintain detailed documentation covering migration methodologies, best practices, and technical solutions. This will be an invaluable resource for the team and future project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Over 3+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter PLM data migration projects.
Key Expertise
  • Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA)
  • PLMXML and TCXML formats
  • ITK, SOA, Java, and/or Python scripting for migration automation
  • Data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation techniquesProven ability to execute complex, high-volume Teamcenter migrations successfully.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver results within tight deadlines.
