Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Role

As a key member of our QA team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your expertise in designing and developing tools and tests will be instrumental in creating exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test cases to validate functionalities and code quality.
  • Develop and maintain functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and test artifacts used in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate product features and report results following formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Track metrics such as velocity, code quality, defect density across all phases, code review metrics, testing metrics, and report them to stakeholders.
  • Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce any defects.
  • Provide quality assurance and execute testing duties as assigned.
  • Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software environments under load.
  • Incorporate client usage and feedback into test scripts to mimic end-user behavior in QA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of Relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them, including working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to using bug tracking and test case management tools, such as JIRA, Azure TFS, and Git.
  • Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.
  • Good customer empathy.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about building amazing products.
  • Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, and SoapUI.
