Job Title

Expert CMDB Implementation Specialist.

Manage and optimize Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) within IT Operations Management (ITOM) frameworks. Oversee design, development, configuration, and deployment of CMDB solutions to ensure alignment with business goals and IT service management best practices. Work closely with IT teams for accurate configuration management and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and deliver CMDB solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Define, maintain, and enforce CMDB processes and governance for managing configuration items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for CMDB structure, workflows, and integration with other ITOM tools.

Data Governance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data within the CMDB. Perform regular audits and updates to ensure the CMDB remains aligned with infrastructure and service changes.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
  • Experience with database design, data modeling, and integrating multiple IT systems.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and application components to effectively map configuration items.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in ITOM, CMDB management, or IT service management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially Configuration Management and Change Management.
