Internal Control Specialist - Associate/Director Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Control Specialist to join our team as an Associate/Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, accounting audit, and internal control roles with at least 4 years of experience in a Big 4 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent reviews of internal controls to ensure timely reporting and implementation of control processes.
  • Facilitate completion of mandatory statutory/corporate/Asia reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and company policies.
  • Perform process audits and month-end reviews independently.
  • Analyze and evaluate accounting documents for compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and company policies.
  • Review customer and supplier reserves accruals, tooling and EDD templates, receivables, AR reserve, unbilled AR, and white papers for policy/accounting deviations.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant with more than 8 years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control role, including at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional departments.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • High adaptability and ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Strong work ethic and track record of taking on additional responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • More than 8 years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control role.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a Big 4 environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
