System Administrator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's core infrastructure components with a primary focus on Active Directory backup solutions and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability security and performance of systems while actively identifying and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Active Directory (AD) Management: Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure including user/group management GPOs DNS DHCP OU structure and AD replication.
  • Monitor AD health and resolve replication or authentication issues.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance e.g. ISO 27001 NIST GDPR CIS. Maintain documentation for security policies procedures and controls.
  • Backup & Recovery: Configure and maintain backup solutions e.g. Veeam Commvault. Ensure regular and successful backups of critical systems applications and data.
  • Conduct periodic restore tests and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize backup strategies.
  • Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Analyze scan results and coordinate with relevant teams to patch and remediate issues.
  • Track vulnerabilities to closure and document remediation plans.
