Job Summary

The role of an Accounting Manager is to oversee the financial operations of an organization. This includes maintaining accurate and complete financial records, ensuring timely general ledger close, and preparing and submitting financial statements in accordance with IGAAP/IFRS, Local Corporate Tax reports, and other financial reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining financial accounts for fraud /errors & establishing / enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. They will also assess, create, and enhance departmental controls, systems, and practices.

In addition, they will ensure that financial records, policies, and practices comply with corporate and country laws and requirements. The candidate will recruit, educate, and inspire accounting department team members.

Responsibilities include providing support for internal and external audits, collaborating with other Regional and Corporate Teams, implementing new solutions and tools, and keeping up with recent financial industry trends and developments.

  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including timely general ledger close
  • Transition New Processes into Finance Shared Services from across the Globe
  • Prepare and submit Financial Statements in accordance with IGAAP/IFRS, Local Corporate Tax reports, and Other financial reports to Revenue/Statutory authorities/Auditors
  • Examine financial accounts for fraud /errors & establish / enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Assess, create, and enhance departmental controls, systems, and practices
  • Ensure that financial records, policies, and practices comply with corporate and country laws and requirements
  • Recruit, educate, and inspire finance department team members
  • Providing support for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with other Regional and Corporate Teams
  • Implementation of new solutions and tools
  • Keep up with recent financial industry trends and developments

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Candidate should be self driven, have a very positive attitude & possess with below qualifications/skills

  • CA with experience of 10-12 years.
  • Experience in Tally, Quick books, SAP and Excel/PPT.
  • Skilled with Accounting Operations requirements
  • Good understanding of GST, WHT, STPI & Other Statutory compliance requirements
  • Good Analytical Skills & Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and good communication skills
  • Independent and self motivated
  • Collaborate in multinational & multi-cultural environment
