Job Title: Financial Compliance Expert

Location: Anantapur, India

Job Overview

We are seeking a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in statutory audit during articleship for a leading CA firm. The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning: Develop audit planning documentation addressing scope, audit objective, budgeted hours, resource plan, and reporting date.
  • Audit Execution: Successfully complete assigned audits, addressing all audit objectives, conducting client and status meetings as required, controlling, monitoring, and reporting on audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring work papers provide adequate support of conclusions while complying with internal standards for documentation.
  • Efficiency Monitoring: Monitor the assignment for improving the efficiency of the assignment, managing audit in relation to time and resource budget.
  • Closure Procedures: Actively check that all findings and issues are documented and performing closedown procedures.
  • Data Compilation: Gather and compile information and data.
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Statutory Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards.
  • Igapp And Ind As: Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change as well as working independently.
  • Legal Understanding: Solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act.
