Mac Support Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mac support professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of hands-on experience supporting macOS systems in a professional environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for macOS-based systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot macOS systems, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Assist end-users with issues related to MacBooks, iMacs, macOS updates, and commonly used applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and software updates to ensure optimal system performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in Mac desktop support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and the Apple ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN) and troubleshooting steps.
  • Experience with remote support tools (e.g., Apple Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
  • Exposure to Jamf Pro or other MDM tools for device management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, AppleScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
