Accounts Receivable Manager

As a key member of the Accor team, the Accounts Receivable Executive plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely collection of receivables. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Accounts Receivable section, working closely with the ADOF to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivable section to ensure efficient and timely collection of receivables.
- Assist the ADOF in the efficient and timely collection of receivables, ensuring that cash receipts, claims, or unpaid invoices are accounted for properly.
- Calculate and enter charges for interest, refunds, or related items, and ensure that account statements or other related reports are prepared in accordance with the standards.
- Process third-party claims and maintain, review, and update guest accounts in accordance with the credit policy.
- Investigate special collection problems and confer with financially responsible persons as required to advise concerning credit policy and to make arrangements for payment of outstanding accounts.
- Recommend the transfer of guest accounts to the Delinquent Accounts section and maintain liaison with other functions to coordinate efforts in resolving problems concerning collection of guest accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analyses, setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- Plan and schedule work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning for subsequent performance of duties.
- Develop and recommend operating policies and procedures for the Accounts Receivable section, ensuring compliance with established practices and keeping employees abreast of current changes and standards.
