Product Security Engineer II Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to support security governance for customer-facing products and services throughout their full development lifecycle.

This role involves overseeing end-to-end security sign-off processes across multiple product development streams, coordinating security review workflows, and ensuring SLA compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading security exception management programs, facilitating cross-functional security program meetings, and communicating risk trends to leadership and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining security program metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting; oversight of security risk posture documentation; and coordination of AI governance processes for generative AI implementations.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Manage end-to-end security sign-off processes across multiple product development streams.
  • Coordinate security review workflows and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Lead security exception management programs including intake, assessment coordination, and approval tracking.
  • Facilitate cross-functional security program meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain security program metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee security risk posture documentation and communicate risk trends to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate AI governance processes for generative AI implementations, ensuring proper review workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 4-8 years experience in program/project coordination, preferably in security or risk domains.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with security review processes and exception management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles and governance considerations.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in tracking tools, documentation systems, and process management.
  • Security-related certifications or training.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Background in security operations or product development support.
