Job Description

A data analyst in the Financial Crime Surveillance Operations (FCSO) Performance and Metrics Management function interprets data to enable business process enhancements. They gather information from various sources, identify patterns and trends, and report them in the FCSO Scorecard.

The data analyst works closely with downstream business process owners to improve, refine, and expand datasets. They produce accurate and insightful dashboards and reports to inform stakeholders and management. Additionally, they participate in Agile ceremonies as a functional data expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance: Follow TTO and FCSO change governance processes.
  • Regulatory Business Conduct: Demonstrate exemplary conduct and adhere to Standard Chartered's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with FCSO Management Team, FCSO Data Squads, Data Quality Analysts, Upstream data teams, and Downstream Process Owners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Advanced data management techniques are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of industry experience as a Business Data Analyst and 6-8 years of experience in data analysis using tools such as Tableau, Dataiku, MSTR, SQL, and Excel.
