Senior Team Lead Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead to lead a dynamic team of engineers in designing and implementing advanced control systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who wants to combine leadership, technical expertise, and global project exposure.

This role involves leading and mentoring a team of 15+ Controls Engineers, ensuring skill and competency development. Additionally, the successful candidate will manage team escalations, daily resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and mentor a team of 15+ Controls Engineers, ensuring skill and competency development.
    • Manage team escalations, daily resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities.
    • Identify training needs and implement structured training programs.
    • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Project Management, Service, and R&D teams as a consultant.
    • Monitor project risks and opportunities, driving improvements across teams.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership with proven experience managing 15+ engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in global, high-demand project environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities with a focus on delivery within time and budget.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC (mandatory) and Allen Bradley PLC (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in the design and execution of integrated control systems.
  • Ability to align control designs with mechanical, electrical, and software project goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
  • 10–12 years of experience in PLC programming (Siemens required; Allen Bradley a plus).
