Job Role:

A mid-level video editor will handle end-to-end editing for various video projects – marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials, and branded content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit raw footage into professional videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, websites, and ads.
  • Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and color grading to enhance video impact.
  • Collaborate with creative leads, marketers, and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards.
  • Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines.
  • Organize and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow; export videos in required formats.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and video technologies (including AI tools when relevant).
  • Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos.
Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Communication, Animation, or related fields (preferred).
  • 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing (portfolio required).
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Solid knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with social media algorithm requirements and digital distribution standards is a plus.
