Physical Design Lead Engineer

  • We are seeking an experienced Physical Design Lead Engineer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IC design, with expertise in all phases of the process from RTL to GDS2.
  • Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of complex mixed-signal SoCs, building and guiding a team of engineers, and working with external vendors to integrate blocks into the design.
Requirements:
  • Analog/Mixed/Custom Signal PNR experience is preferred to drive partitioning for digital and mixed signal SoCs.
  • Experience in developing PNR methodology/flow to support a larger PD team.
  • Hierarchical Place & Route experience is also required.
  • Other essential qualifications include Floorplanning, clock & power network architecture and design, as well as thorough understanding of digital design, timing analysis, and DFT.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5-10 years' experience in chip implementation and 3-5 years as a top-level lead.
  • Proven track record with multiple successful final production tape-outs at 16/14nm, 10nm, preferably 7nm.
  • Knowledge of embedded processors and high-speed interfaces is also required.
  • Ability to contribute to and guide the development process to meet stringent industry segment requirements.
