Job Opportunity: Chief Data Infrastructure Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Architect to design and implement scalable data architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing Azure data solutions, specifically with Microsoft Fabric, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.

The Chief Data Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data architecture solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of our data infrastructure and drive innovation in data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Develop scalable data architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Design and implement data pipelines for ETL/ELT from diverse sources, including optimizing SSIS packages within Azure.
  • Ensure data security and compliance within Azure data solutions, including data governance frameworks and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with 5+ years focused on architectural design.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure data solutions, specifically with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks.
  • Proficiency with SSIS, including the migration and modernization of existing SSIS packages within Azure.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with data governance, data quality, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala.
