Job Title: Construction Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Construction Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing on-site activities, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Site Plans: Develop detailed site plans and specifications for construction projects.
  • Inspect Construction Sites: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes.
  • Direct or Perform Surveys: Coordinate surveys and measurements to determine site layouts and boundaries.
  • Estimate Costs: Prepare budgets and estimate costs for construction projects.
  • Plan and Coordinate Activities: Schedule and coordinate construction activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs.
  • Perform Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct soil tests and perform geotechnical analysis for structural foundations.
  • Report Progress: Provide regular updates on work progress and budget matters to senior management.
  • Evaluate Workmanship: Assess materials and workmanship against project quality standards and design requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • On-Site Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing on-site construction projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in AI-based project planning and scheduling tools (desired).

Qualifications:

A degree or diploma in civil engineering and at least 2-3 years' experience as a Construction Operations Manager are required.
