Job Title: Technical Accounting Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced technical accounting director to lead our financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and experience in managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize financial statements, including notes to accounts involving multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation.
  • Lead month-end closure activities and ensure accuracy and completeness with regards to balance sheet schedules.
  • Support various aspects of integrated audits, including planning, interim testing, quarter-end tasks, audit requests, and cost-saving efficiencies.
  • Lead and finalize annual US and foreign entities audits with big audit firms, ensuring timely submission of accounts and ledgers, proactively resolving issues, and preparing required memos.
  • Manage the flow of information and supporting documentation from various parts of the company to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Improve the financial reporting process within the organization.

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA equivalent with 6-8 years of experience, preferably in a software or hi-tech industry.
  • Currently handling and mentoring a team.
  • Experience in a public company or big 4 audit firms.
  • NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures and internal controls.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with exceptionally strong judgment, time management ability, and unimpeachable integrity.
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP; Software revenue accounting experience preferred.
  • Self-driven team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
