Architectural Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will drive architectural initiatives to deliver business outcomes, provide clarity on complex topics, and lead the strategy for building and maintaining an architectural runway.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the strategic technical direction of the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide a high-level vision of solutions and development initiatives.
  • Define key technical initiatives that support innovation via Enabler Epics.
  • Help build value streams that adhere to budget guardrails for retiring solutions.
  • Lead the strategy for building and maintaining the architectural runway.
  • Understand and communicate Strategic Themes and key business drivers for architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive architectural initiatives in the ART and participate in epic analysis where applicable.
  • Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.
  • Promote Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps capabilities.
  • Collect, generate, and analyze innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business.
  • Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns.
  • Synchronize disciplines across solutions whenever applicable: System security, quality production infrastructure, user experience, Lean UX, scalability, performance, and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs).
  • Coach developers and identify training opportunities.
  • Prepare, manage, and coordinate breakdown of Portfolio Enablers into ART or Team Enablers.
  • Understand the Architecture of all systems and address conflicting approaches.
  • Create strategies for technology adoption.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 13 years of experience.
  • Personal and professional alignment with company culture and ten critical success factors.
  • Proven experience as a logistics and technology-oriented leader.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and execution capabilities.
  • Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator, and able to provide clarity around complex topics.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Lean, Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Assertive personality, interpersonal, action, and outcome-driven leadership.
  • Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate.
  • Ability to promote autonomy, mastery, and purpose through empowerment and creating leaders.
Desired Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree preferred.
  • Global logistics Supply chain business knowledge minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in a technical role such as systems, data, business analysis, project management, or software development 1 year minimum.
