Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services in Rust, focusing on optimizing performance, memory usage, and reliability.
  • Develop and enhance APIs and data pipelines that interface with internal services, external partners, and end-users.
  • Apply best practices for secure coding, conduct thorough code reviews, and implement testing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Rust Expertise: Strong proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem.
  • Backend & Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Performance & Concurrency: Proven experience profiling applications, optimizing performance-critical code paths, and handling concurrency safely and efficiently.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coding in Rust.
