Job Title: Senior Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a seasoned researcher to establish and maintain comprehensive reference data across multiple platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will manage large datasets, execute ongoing data cleanup activities, and support larger-scale data cleanup initiatives as directed.
  • They will perform regular reconciliations and validations between all platforms to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Additionally, they will identify and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner and implement quality control measures to prevent data inconsistencies.

Data Integrity & Reconciliation:

  • The successful candidate will maintain ongoing monitoring and maintenance of data integrity across systems.
  • They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and identify areas for improvement.

Fund Operations & Structure Management:

  • The Senior Research Analyst will execute fund structure setup and organize and maintain legal entity documentation for Alternative investments.
  • They will support fund lifecycle management from inception through wind-down and develop and maintain legal entity workflow diagrams and process documentation.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • The ideal candidate will lead process reengineering initiatives and create and update standard operating procedures for entity management processes.
  • They will identify opportunities for automation and process optimization and mentor junior team members on complex entity management issues.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fund administration, legal entity management, or financial services operations.
  • Experience with alternative investment structures (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, etc.).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Diligent Entities platform.
  • Experience with fund administration systems (eFront, PE AUM Portal, or similar platforms).
  • Advanced Excel skills and database management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Understanding of legal entity structures and corporate governance.
  • Knowledge of alternative investment fund structures and operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for investment funds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation.
  • Knowledge of data reconciliation best practices.
  • Previous experience in fund accounting or administration.
