Electrical Quality Assurance Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of electrical components and systems in our products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supplier Quality Assurance: This involves monitoring vendor quality levels, identifying areas for improvement, and working with vendors to implement corrective actions.
  2. (Monitoring Vendor Quality Levels:) Regularly review and analyze data on vendor performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  3. (Implement Corrective Actions:) Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement plans to improve their quality processes and reduce defects.
  4. (Process Audit:) Conduct regular audits of our supplier's manufacturing processes to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  5. (Analysis of Issues:): Identify and analyze issues reported by customers or internal teams related to vendor supplies, and work with the vendor to implement corrections.

Key Requirements:
  • Proficient in Electrical/Electronic Automotive Vehicle Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of electrical/electronic automotive vehicle systems, including powertrain and interfaces arising out of electrification.
  • (Knowledge of Automotive Industry Standards:) In-depth understanding of global automotive industry standards and regulations.
  • (Electronic Parts Knowledge:) Extensive knowledge of electronic parts, assemblies, and processes.
  • (Quality Systems Experience:) Proven experience in quality systems for electronic components in automotive applications.
  • (Soft Skills:) Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:
  • Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency: Ability to create effective reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • (SAP and Teamcenter Experience:) Familiarity with SAP and Teamcenter software.
