Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced medical communications professional to lead our content development efforts. As a Medical Communications Director, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our medical content and developing high-quality materials that support business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical and scientific writing, with expertise in medico-marketing/marketing communications. They must also have experience as a people manager, managing a team of ≥4 medical content writers for both US & global markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality medical communication materials, including scientific manuscripts, marketing collateral, and educational content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive and effective communication materials.
  • Maintain scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and adhere to industry guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to continually improve and refine content based on client feedback and internal stakeholder input.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or a related field, with 2+ years as people manager/team lead.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including clinical trials, drug development, regulatory processes, and marketing activities.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with ability to convey complex concepts in clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, EndNote, Veeva Vault).
