**Job Description:**

The IT Support Specialist is a key member of the EvonSys global IT operations team. In this role, you will provide technical support and incident management for our clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues from L1 teams.
  • Maintain and improve incident management processes, ensuring quick resolution and detailed documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Servers, Active Directory, O365, Linux, and applications.
  • Support web hosting and server management (preferably Tomcat and NGINX).
  • Manage database systems (PostgreSQL preferred), ensuring backup, recovery, and optimization.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
  • Ensure hardware and software asset management best practices.
  • Work closely with L3 teams, SOC, NOC, and DevOps for integrated IT operations.

Security & Compliance:

  • Assist in ISO 27001:2022 compliance-related activities and security policy upkeep.
  • Support vulnerability management, security patching, and audit processes.
  • Enforce security best practices across IT systems and applications.
  • Work with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to monitor and mitigate security threats.

Cloud & Automation:

  • Configure and manage Azure Cloud Services (preferably AZ-104 certified).
  • Automate processes using shell scripting and DevOps tools.

Mentorship & Team Collaboration:

  • Mentor new joiners, providing technical guidance and onboarding support.
  • Work within a structured global IT support team, collaborating across time zones.
