IT Support Specialist

**Job Description:**
The IT Support Specialist is a key member of the EvonSys global IT operations team. In this role, you will provide technical support and incident management for our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues from L1 teams.
- Maintain and improve incident management processes, ensuring quick resolution and detailed documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Servers, Active Directory, O365, Linux, and applications.
- Support web hosting and server management (preferably Tomcat and NGINX).
- Manage database systems (PostgreSQL preferred), ensuring backup, recovery, and optimization.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
- Ensure hardware and software asset management best practices.
- Work closely with L3 teams, SOC, NOC, and DevOps for integrated IT operations.
Security & Compliance:
- Assist in ISO 27001:2022 compliance-related activities and security policy upkeep.
- Support vulnerability management, security patching, and audit processes.
- Enforce security best practices across IT systems and applications.
- Work with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to monitor and mitigate security threats.
Cloud & Automation:
- Configure and manage Azure Cloud Services (preferably AZ-104 certified).
- Automate processes using shell scripting and DevOps tools.
Mentorship & Team Collaboration:
- Mentor new joiners, providing technical guidance and onboarding support.
- Work within a structured global IT support team, collaborating across time zones.
