Job Title: AI/ML Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient AI and ML platforms. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance AI and ML infrastructure using Python, R, React, NodeJS, Jupyter Notebooks, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and ML capabilities into existing systems and applications.
  • Work closely with data scientists to deploy and maintain AI and ML models on various platforms, including Dataiku, Bedrock, and others.
  • Develop and implement observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Splunk (or ELK stack), PagerDuty to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Implement security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and ML platform engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of Gen AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud computing using AWS and/or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux Operating System internals.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in Dataiku Platform and Kubernetes (CKA, CKS) or similar certifications.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GIT, Artifactory, Spinnaker, and software development skills in languages like Java, Go, Node.js, React.
  • Familiarity with data service solutions such as Elastic, Kafka, Redis, Nifi, and data analytics tools like Dataiku and ML-Ops.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills on both technical and non-technical topics.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Self-starter able to work in a team or individually to complete complex technical tasks.
  • Able to explore new concepts, ideas, and technologies and formulate understanding and apply to work tasks.
