Oracle OSM Consultant

This is a role that involves implementing Oracle Communications OSS Stack products, designing and supporting OSS solutions for diverse projects in the telecommunications domain.

  • Design and implement OSS solutions using Oracle OSM.
  • Translate high-level design requirements into detailed technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical design documents such as high-level designs (HLDs) and low-level designs (LLDs).
  • Perform code build and deployment for development and testing environments.
  • Handle installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of OSM and related components.
  • Support solution integration, testing, and optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end OSS implementations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience with Oracle OSM, preferably in the telecommunications domain. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications is required. The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and scripting languages.

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with Java, XML, XQuery, WebServices, WebLogic, and RDBMS technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with OSM installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in collaborative environments.
